Kazarizara, Japanese Ornamental Plate - In Japan and many other countries across Asia, ornamental plates are used as decoration around the house. They come in many different shapes and sizes and usually depict a certain theme. In Japanese, these ornamental plates are called Kazarizara (飾り皿), which can literally be translated to display plate.
This particular Kazarizara has a square shape and features dark motives on a light underground. Multiple figures and scribbles can be seen on the plate, including a pineapple which evokes a tropical feeling.
