Item description - YO07010080
A Hibachi (火鉢) is a traditional Japanese fire bowl. It consists of a round, cylindrical or a box-shaped, open-topped container, lined with heatproof materials and designed to hold burning charcoal. This wonderful Hibachi is made from first-class porcelain and displays great vivid colors.
A Hibachi is very multifunctional next to serving as a fire bowl. It can for example be used as a watercontainer, used for watering Bonsai and other plants and trees. Additionally the Hibachi can serve as a very impressive flower pot. Next to this, the Hibachi can also be arranged to be a small pond. This often features goldfish and water plants such as the lotus. This mesmerizing arrangement can frequently be spotted in small gardens and on verandas of Kyoto. At last, the Hibachi can also be used to burn incense, a very common ritual in Japan.
