Japanese Garden Design - Zoo Avifauna
Avifauna, the oldest bird park in the world located at Alphen an den Rijn in the Netherlands invited us to make a plan and designs for the new home for the little red pandas that were to be expected. Here is compilation of the garden design we made. The design will feature a big rock formation with a waterfall and a little abandonned Japanese house. (shelter for the night)
The landscape design also features a Japanese style covered walkway for the visitors to enjoy the animals from a close distance. As you can see there will be plenty of room for the animals to hide and play. The wrecked Japanese sampan adds a wonderfull atmosphere of an abandonned little village in the forest. Great value for the animals and a wonderful scenery for the visitors.
