The Koto-in Japanese stone lantern. Sen no Rikyu was a symbol of Japanese tea culture and he really loved this type of stone lantern. This is why the Japanese Koutouin lantern is one of the most popular stone lanterns in Japan and is often found in the tea garden. The lantern looks like a lightweight Kasuga Toro.
