Kawara, Japanese Antique Ceramic Roof Tiles - YO07010015
Antique Kawara roof tiles are frequently used in the Japanese garden to accentuate the separation between gravel and green. The roof tiles are placed upright in the ground and protrude between 5 and 10 cm above the gravel. Usually, simple rows are applied. However, interesting patterns can also be created by combining multiple rows.
Antique materials such as roof tiles or milling stones are often reused and given a new purpose in the Japanese garden. This perfectly fits the philosophical concept of Wabi-Sabi.
