Curbstone Granite... - 2002-0004
Granite curbstones are used to border the veranda in the Japanese Japanese garden and in some cases to construct stairs. Also, the curbstones are used to build the traditional Japanese Sokkou or gutter that is used to discharge the rain coming from the roofs.
The Sokkou or Soko consists of a double line of curbstones with space in between of around 20 cm. Between the curbstones, a drainage tube will be placed. The whole will be covered by means of big river pebbles.
